Mountain bike courses in the Ötztal valley
Join us and experience the unique Ötztal mountains at first hand. We
will show you the most breathtaking trails and give you tips and tricks
for greater safety and fun on your bike.
Our mountain bike guides are there to help and advise you, whether you are alone, with friends or acquaintances, in a group or private course.
Important information
- Age: from 8 years (courses for younger children are available here)
- Courses are offered from 3 participants
- Dates:start of June to the end of September
- Course days: daily
- Course times: 9 am to 12 noon and 1.30 pm to 4.30 pm
- Meeting point: Sport Brugger - Dorfstraße 125, 6450 Sölden
- Price: €55.00 (1 day/person)
- Lift ticket: not included in the course fee
- Equipment: functioning mountain bike (hardtail or fully with disc brakes), helmet (half-shell or full-face helmet), long-finger gloves, knee and elbow protectors, backpack, water bottle, small snack

Group courses are divided into three performance levels
Beginner
Cycling skill: “beginner”
- No experience with an MTB off-road
- Ground: you are confident on the road and have some experience of cycling on wide forest roads/woodland tracks.
- Turns: sweeping curves
Slightly intermediate
Cycling skill: “moderately advanced”
- You are already confident on easy single trails and blue flow trails.
- Ground: asphalt, gravel, forest paths, minor obstacles (roots, stones, small steps), anti-skid surfaces
- Turns: wide hairpin bends
Intermediate
Cycling skill: “advanced”
- You’ve been riding an MTB for a long time. You enjoy riding off-road with good single trails, but you also see potential for improvement in your skills.
- Ground: flowing single trails with moderately difficult obstacles (root stretches, stones, steps), ground no longer compacted
- Turns: narrower hairpin bends
Special riding technique courses
Every Tuesday afternoon there is a riding technique course for advanced bikers who would like to generate some airtime. Learn how to jump properly on tables, drops, gaps, etc.
